PamCham was honored to attend and support the 35th PCCI North Luzon Area Business Conference (NLABC) held on June 2-3, 2026, at the Diwa ng Tarlac Convention Center in Tarlac City. A heartfelt thanks to the Tarlac Chamber of Commerce, led by its President Aileen U. Chan (also a PamCham Member) for organizing the impactful event!

PamCham delegation comprised of dedicated leaders, including Chairman Jim Jimenez, Vice-Chairperson Terry David-Carlos, President Atty. Paul Yusi, Director and Corporate Secretary Atty. Ryan, Director/Auditor Marco Hizon, Directors Ruben Sy, Dr. Robert Lo, Bert Batac, and Head of PamCham Operations Committee Elinor Lacanilao. We were also joined by Mr. Melvin Tan, Chair of the Infrastructure Committee.

Also present during the event were Mr. Rene Romero, immediate past PamCham Chairman, Ms. Joyce Del Rosario, former PamCham executive director, younger members Ms. Vickee D. Ong, committee chair of Business Developnent and Education, KG Magtoto, Comm Chair of Membership, Ms. Michelle Montemayor, member of Events Comm.

Also in attendance were PamCham members Romac COO, Enzo Consulta and Chef Felix Asuncion.

On the first day of the conference, President Atty. Paul Yusi shared valuable insights during the Chamber Development session, discussing best practices in chamber management. He highlighted PamCham’s journey in business mentorship, from its years of collaborations with Mr. Joey Concepcion’s Go Negosyo program to our mentorship programs for the Young Entrepreneurs of Pampanga (YEP), before eventually introducing the Adopt a Chamber Mentorship program, an initiative by then director Rene Romero under the presidency of Terry David-Carlos and chairmanship of now immediate past chairman Jess Nicdao, during the 2023-2024 board year. Mr. Nicdao now sits at the Board of Advisers (BOA), created to continue the link and legacy of PamCham’s Old Guards with its current volunteer leaders.

To fulfill PamCham’s mission, President Yusi mobilized our directors and officers to mentor the Cagayan and Isabela Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCIs), with support from Vice-Chairperson Carlos, VP Dior Laus, treasuer Marylou Tolentino. The on-site sessions were strengthened by the involvement of Chairman Jim Jimenez, Atty. Ryan Tan, Malou Garbes, and Ms. Noy Lacanilao.

PamCham is proud to have received the PCCI – Phil Chamber Development Institute, Inc. (PhilCDI) Certificate of Recognition, presented to President Yusi, with another certificate accorded to former chairman Romero’s outstanding contributions to Phil CDI and to the Adopt a Chamber Mentorship Program.
